01

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)

is a collaborative approach that targets emotions by changing thoughts and behaviors that contribute to feelings of distress. The goal of CBT is to help build a skill set that allows individuals to be more aware of how their thoughts, feelings and behaviors are interrelated and also to improve their feelings and dysfunctional behaviors by changing their thought patterns.

03

Psychodynamic Therapy

focuses on unconscious processes as they are manifested in a person’s present behavior. The primary goal of psychodynamic therapy is to achieve self-awareness and an understanding of the influence it holds over our current behavior. Self-awareness and insight are integral parts of the psychodynamic process, as they enable unconscious elements of one’s life to become a part of their present experience. This modality assumes a more open ended structure in hopes of allowing patients to discover and understand how their behavior and mood are affected by unresolved issues and unconscious feelings.

05

is a form of evidence-based psychotherapy shown to achieve benefits in less than 3 sessions. ART emphasizes reprocessing information from a traumatic or disturbing life event. ART facilitates access to traumatic memories and other adverse life experiences, enabling patients to begin to process those specific events and enables individuals to experience post-traumatic growth. ART helps individuals reconsolidate traumatic memories, working directly to reprogram the way in which distressing memories and images are stored in the brain, so they no longer elicit strong emotional or physical responses.

07

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

identifies and addresses multiple sub-personalities or families within each person’s mental system. These sub-personalities consist of wounded parts and painful emotions such as anger and shame, and parts that try to control and protect the person from the pain of the wounded parts. The sub-personalities are often in conflict with each other and with one’s core Self, a concept that describes the confident, compassionate, whole person that is at the core of every individual.

IFS focuses on healing the wounded parts and restoring mental balance and harmony by changing the dynamics that create discord among the sub-personalities and the Self.

06

is a blend of meditation, body awareness, and mindful movement: learning through practice and study how your body handles (and can resolve) stress neurologically. MBSR can cultivate states of relaxation, improve physical symptoms of pain and chronic illness, open our minds to greater insight, and enhance our physical health and sense of well-being. MBSR was intended as a means of cultivating greater awareness and wisdom, helping people to live each moment of their lives as fully as possible. The purpose is to acknowledge present moment reality as it is found and transforming one's relationship to it.

08

Clinical Supervision

provides a safe space for licensed clinicians to explore and develop therapeutic style - authentic to the individual therapist - under the guidance of a licensed professional trained to supervise.  Clinicians would work to improve functional skill and professional practices.

Supervision is offered to provide continuing support for licensed clinicians to have a safe space to discuss issues and case studies presented in sessions. Supervision is intended to be used to integrate clinician self-awareness, theoretical grounding, and development of clinical knowledge and skills.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

aims to challenge and restructure maladaptive beliefs associated with trauma. The foundational principle of CPT lies in cognitive theory. It recognizes that traumatic experiences can lead to distorted thoughts and beliefs, impacting an individual's emotional well-being and daily functioning. CPT seeks to address these cognitive distortions and replace them with healthier, more adaptive beliefs through a narrative setting that focuses on the human connection between the client and therapist while working on the 5 key areas impacted by PTSD.
